  2. bPatients with BD should have at least one visit/year with a psychiatrist or physician, when health care providers other than a psychiatrist/physician are part of the treatment team
  3. cFor these patients an emergency plan is recommended as optional
  4. dAt least three visits with a psychiatrist or mental health nurse in the previous year
  5. eAny form of psychotherapy in the previous year
